Ph.D. course 'Dynamics of complex systems' in Pisa

The Ph.D. School in Mathematics of the University of Pisa will host a course on the ‘Dynamics of complex systems’ by Stefano Galatolo, Roberto Castorrini, Matteo Tanzi, and Bastien Fernandez. This course will be conducted in person, with the option of remote participation. The first lecture will be held on April 12 at 11am (CET). Workshops at Jagellonian University in Kraków

In the second half of May and beginning of June 2024, there will be three events at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków related to dynamical systems: On 20-24 May, a workshop on “Higher order Fourier analysis and combinatorial ergodic theory” with minicourses by Pablo Candela (Higher-order Fourier analysis) and Joel Morreira (Ergodic Ramsey theory). Two DinAmicI are among the organizers of the workshop Computer-verified proofs: 48 hours in Rome, to be held at the Department of Mathematics of University of Rome Tor Vergata on 24-26 January 2024. Website: https://www.mat.uniroma2.it/butterley/formalisation/ The workshop concerns interactive proof assistants, programs that allow one to write and verify mathematical proofs. As such, the focus is on the Lean 4 language and its mathematical library. For those who want an overview, several talks will be presented on major aspects of this emerging field.
