A School on Smooth Ergodic Theory and Partially Hyperbolic Systems is being organised at Loughborough, UK, from 15-18 April 2019, by Wael Bahsoun and Brian Winn.
Lecturers are J. F. Alves, S. Crovisier, I. Melbourne and tutorials are provided by M. Ruziboev. On the afternoon of 17 April, there will be a one day ergodic theory meeting; speakers are: H. Koivusalo, A. Pohl, M. Pollicott.
Financial support to cover local expenses (accommodation and meals) is available for 40 PhD students/Postdocs.
A website for the Seconda Giornata DinAmica, or 2nd DAI Day, is up and running:
https://eventi.unibo.it/dinamiciday2
The program of the day should be rather stable but we do not exclude that it might undergo small variations.
To facilitate the organization, we are asking all participants to register at the page: https://eventi.unibo.it/dinamiciday2/registrazione. Also, please download the poster and post it in your institution.
Finally, on the evening of the 21st, a number of us will meet for dinner in a restaurant to be decided.
In keeping with our just-established tradition, 2018 is the year of the DinAmicI Day, the one-day long social meeting of the DinAmici. Thus, some of us (C. Bonanno, A. M. Cherubini, M. Lenci, A. Sorrentino) are organizing the
Seconda Giornata DinAmica at Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei (!) on 21 December 2018
The meeting day will include a small number of lectures/seminars and our Assemby. A detailed program will be announced soon, but for now save the date!
The workshop
“Mathematical Models and Methods in Earth and Space Science”
will be held at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Rome Tor Vergata from 19th to 22nd March 2019.
The workshop is one of the scientific activities which the Department organises in the next five years (2018-2022), as part of the programme “Departments of Excellence” supported by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research.

A Summer School in Dynamical Systems which will be held at ICTP, Trieste (Italy) on 16-27 July 2018.
https://indico.ictp.it/event/8325/
The school is targeted to Masters and beginning PhD students and aims at introducing a variety of fundamental ideas and techniques in dynamics. The first week will not assume prior knowledge in the field of dynamical systems. Students can also register for the second week only.
Female students are especially encouraged to apply.
The school:
“Stable and Chaotic Motions in the Planetary Problem”
will take place in Asiago (Italy), June 10-15 2018, funded by the homonym ERC project Stable and Chaotic Motions in the Planetary problem.
The aim of this school is to study in depth the dynamics of planetary systems from the underlying mathematical theories coming from perturbation theories and going back to A. N. Kolmogorov, V. I. Arnold and J. Moser, up to the recent astronomical observations of comets, asteroids and exoplanets from ground and space.
