As you may have noticed, our website has gone through a restyling. We owe this beautiful new site to our wonderful Marcello Seri. In the process, we moved to a much simpler deployment strategy, which should make our website much much faster than before, and safer and easier to maintain for us. The price to pay for this is that you will need to contact us to submit new posts, unless you want to get your hands dirty.

The Department of Mathematics of University of Rome Tor Vergata is currently advertising a 1-year research fellowship (“Assegno di ricerca”) in the framework of the research program “Variational and PDE methods for the study of Hamiltonian systems and the Hamilton‐Jacobi equation”.
The ideal candidate is a strong young researcher with interest in Hamiltonian dynamics, Hamilton-Jacobi equations and related subject (in a broad sense).
The gross annual salary is about €32.000 and there is no teaching duty.
It is a pleasure to announce that our biennial workshop is returning this year.
The workshop “DinAmicI VII” is organised in collaboration with the Riemann International School of Mathematics https://www.rism.it/, and will take place in the days 6-9 June, 2022 at Villa Toeplitz (Varese).
More information will follow, but for now, save the date!
The “Dipartimento di Matematica e Applicazioni” (Department of Mathematics and its Applications) of the University of Milano-Bicocca plans to open one or two positions (depending on the number and quality of interested researchers) for tenured (or tenure-track) faculty appointments in the next future. Expressions of interest are encouraged from distinguished candidates at senior or junior levels in all areas of Mathematics.

A postdoctoral position is available within the ANR project COSY: “New challenges in contact and symplectic topology”.
This is a research-only appointment (without teaching) for two years starting in October 2022. The salary will be 2000 euros per month and up depending on experience, with benefits including health insurance and social coverage. Funds will also be provided for traveling and inviting collaborators.
The successful candidate will be expected to interact with some researchers in contact and symplectic topology from the poles of the project:
The Department of Mathematics of Sapienza Università di Roma has opened calls for a 1-year postdoctoral position and a 2-year postdoctoral position, in all areas of Mathematics. The candidates must submit their own research projects.
