The Institute Henri Poincaré in Paris will host the trimester program “Group actions and rigidity: around the Zimmer program” from April 15th to July 5th, 2024.

The next edition of the biennial DInAmicI Day, DAI Day V, will take place on December 18, 2023 in Bologna. The location will be Aula dei Poeti, Strada Maggiore 45.

The Department of Mathematics of the University of Salento, Italy, is advertising a one-year post-grade/post-doc research position on the topic “Development of dynamical systems techniques for the study of space debris and their application” with the scientific scientific supervision of Prof. Anna Maria Cherubini.
The position is within the framework of the TISMA Project (PNR and PRIN Fund).

The Department of Mathematics of the University of Antwerp, Belgium, is advertising a 2+1 year full-time postdoctoral scholarship in symplectic geometry and/or dynamical systems (broadly understood) in the research group of Prof. Sonja Hohloch.

Cari membri del gruppo UMI “DinAmicI”,
il 30 settembre prossimo scadranno i primi tre anni di attività del nostro gruppo. In base alla decisione presa nell’assemblea dello scorso dicembre, all’inizio di quest’anno abbiamo chiesto e ottenuto il rinnovo del gruppo per altri tre anni che inizieranno l’1 ottobre prossimo.
Con l’inizio del nuovo triennio si devono tenere le elezioni per il rinnovo delle cariche: il responsabile e 4 membri della giunta. Le elezioni si terranno nell’ultima decade di settembre in una modalità da decidere in assemblea. I tempi sono piuttosto stretti per cui al momento con la giunta in carica abbiamo iniziato ad organizzare le elezioni pensando alla modalità telematica, per la quale avremo il supporto da parte dell’UMI. In ogni caso la decisione finale sarà presa in assemblea. Inoltre, con il rinnovo del gruppo, sarebbe bene che ci fosse anche un rinnovo, almeno parziale, delle cariche.
